OF WORDS AND MEN - OCCUPATION AND OWNERSHIP

                One day my father and I were chatting. We often discussed a lot of politics and world events. I gave my dad a scenario and then I asked a question. This is how it went;

A man is evicted from his home by force. Years later the place is still abandoned and then the man's brother takes over the place. One day the man returns home with his family. Does the man still have rights to his home?

My father put himself in the man's situation and he said that the brother would be caring for the home for him. He cannot expect to keep it. This was how I got my father to understand the situation for Israel except no one was really caring for the land.

So far in the series Of Words and Men - Words and Meanings, I have covered a number of words that we hear very often. I especially invite you to take a look at colonisation and peace and prosperity as it adds dimensions to the issue. The question of ownership and occupation is intermingled with these issues and it takes some time to get into and expand on. I try not to be repetitive as well.

It is important because it is incessantly coming into the conversation in our homes, our churches, our governments, our civil societies and our international forums. As Yasser Arafat said it is a fight based on psychology and  numbers. This is what this word game is about.

The Israel-Palestine situation is the cause of many conflicts. The most common   comments heard are:

In discussing the issue of occupation and ownership in Israel there are several factors to consider:

  • The War of Words
  • The Claim
  • The Land
  • Proof of Existence
  • Race and Diversity
  • The Real Conversation
  • Israel Held to Different Rules
  • Then What?

THE WAR OF WORDS

Warfare is no longer about the use of foot soldiers and ammunition. It is now through Cold War, economic warfare, bio warfare,  soft colonisation, psychological warfare, internal resistance, and virtual warfare. The Israel-Palestine conflict is a good example of a war of words.

Warfare boosts economies (aggressor's) and it boosts country morale. This is what the Lieutenant General, Leopold Galtieri intended when Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands (1982). By exploring the concept of occupation and ownership I might determine who was there first. If nothing else, these words have high positive and negative impact locally and internationally.

In the war of words, meaning and justification are important. It is different to a Cold War where leaders deal with issues with comments and paper. For Israel, it is about labels and legal ramifications. It is about anti-semitic acts of violence against Jews globally and their identity.

The playing field is not a fair one either. No one openly or officially says that the Arab Palestinian cause is based on lies and deceptions due to fear of reprisals. However, to attack the Jew and his religion is common practise because there is no life and death threat.

The Ahmed Salman Rushdie situation basically whipped everyone into that reality. Coupled with jihad of the pen, the media and the social media spaces have betrayed truth and justice. Even in the USA there is a presidential debate as a sort of war of words. But this is based on set rules that both sides adhere to.

During 2020 when companies were laying off staff, there was a word that the American companies were using. Legal minds in the Caribbean decided that they would not acknowledge the word nor entertain the conversation with it. Because it did not exist in local law and therefore it would put them at a disadvantage in representing local workers.

In this war of words it is important to understand the full conversation. The nuances, the meanings and the implications. It is a legal demand to have the right conversation. Unfortunately the world has allowed the conversation to be hijacked in this issue Israel and Palestine.

THE CLAIM

To put it simply, Palestinians claim that they own and occupied the land of Israel and Israel is therefore a foreign coloniser. That is not what you are accustomed to hearing is it? Would it sound more familiar if I say that Israel is occupying and colonising the land owned by Palestine? Is there a difference? The emphasis is on who has to prove their rights.

The only claim that Palestine has supporting the argument that the land belongs to them is the name. It was a scheme of Rome to change the name in maps and documents. Additionally, Palestine referred to Jews not Arabs

If the Jewish people are illegally occupying Israel then Rome owes them money for illegally occupying, murdering and exiling them in 135AD. Additionally if it is wrong for the Palestinians Arabs to be expelled from Israel then it would have been wrong  for the Jews to have been expelled from it thousands of years before. Additionally, the Jews living in other ME countries who were told to leave in the 1900s.

The Jewish claim is dated further and proven by the factors that show a link or tie to the land. They have historical artefacts, they have language that is consistent with the Hebrew of old, they have memories through the oral traditions and verified by historical evidence. The religion even includes the land showing an appreciation for it.

From around the 1870s, it was the Jews who cared for the land, drained the swamps and irrigated it, the Arabs who decided to come to Israel took advantage of the development and they grew in numbers as economic immigrants.

Dawood Barakat, editor of the Egyptian paper Al-Ahram, wrote:
It is absolutely necessary that an entente be made between the Zionists and Arabs, because the war of words can only do evil. The Zionists are necessary for the country: The money which they will bring, their knowledge and intelligence, and the industriousness which characterizes them will contribute without doubt to the regeneration of the country.
Till the barren and desert soil they did, with hoes made of wood. They lived in mud houses without windows and suffered through malaria. But as Joan Peters wrote they prospered the land and the Arabs gained from it.

A little background on the State of Israel

The historical background of the land commonly referred to as Palestine up to 1948 is told mostly in parts and from specific angles. Mainstream media prefers to play the game of words. I think that the media is very compromised and have blood on their hands for the many that die on both sides.

Critics of Israel argue that Israel did not get permission to settle by the Ottoman Empire and therefore they are illegal. However, this is null and void by the fact that the British had won in battle over it. That would have been in 1917.

Under the League of Nations, the intention was a two state solution. But this was rejected by the Arab Palestinians 7 times since 1917 to now. At that time the Arabs were insistent that they did not want it and claimed that they were part of Syria. This, although they would have gotten more land at that time. The State of Israel was recognised on May 15th, 1948 and the majority of nations continue to. How legal can you get?

Even when the Ottoman Empire ruled over the land there were Jews even as far back as the 16th century when they took it from the Egyptians. Those Jews paid taxes and Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus were states with villages in Galilee and Hebron. The population at the time was around 10,000 mostly in Safed. There were Jews who never left in different parts.

The claim that Israel is colonising the land and expelling the Palestinians is weak. There were Jews there and the returning Jews bought land when they could. When they could not it was because they were not allowed to or could not find a living owner who had proof of ownership themselves. But they were able to settle on the land. You will understand why soon.

The land was not settled by either Muslim or Arab. In comparison, when the Palestinian Arabs which is a new identity, are asked to show proof of ownership they cannot. The situation with Sheikh Jarrah gives an idea of this issue. However, based on motherland, memory and mass they had every right to be in the land as returnees and as owners who had proof of existence and longest ties with the land.

THE LAND

Often people quote Mark Twain to verify that the land was uninhabited and desolate as published in his Innocents Abroad (1869).
Of all the lands there are for dismal scenery, I think Palestine must be the prince. The hills are barren, they are dull of color, they are unpicturesque in shape. The valleys are unsightly deserts fringed with a feeble vegetation that has an expression about it of being sorrowful and despondent.
Others have criticised this saying that Twain was being deliberately satirical and exaggerated for his publication. But a satirist does not make things up. There is no artistic expression in that.

A satirist plays with words and images to present a picture of what he sees. In other words exaggerated or not, he was not lying. Twain had no bias towards the Jews because he was agnostic. Not even a Christian, and he found that Christians tended to romanticise their perspective of Israel.

In an interview with Harper's Magazine, (1899) he said;
The Egyptian, Babylonian, and the Persian rose, filled the planet with sound and splendor, then faded to dream-stuff and passed away. The Greek and Roman followed, made a vast noise and they are gone. Other peoples have sprung up, and held their torch high for a time, but it burned out and they sit in twilight now or have vanished. The Jew saw them all, beat them all, and is now what he always was, exhibiting no decadence, no infirmities of age, no weakening of his parts, no slowing of his energies, no dulling of his alert and aggressive mind. All things are mortal, but the Jew. All other forces pass, but he remains. What is the secret of his immortality?
His comment here supports his previous statements. He was saying that anyone who usurped the Jews from their land had fallen but Israel continued. In the 1800s more Jews were returning to the land. Twain saw that and understood that it was a people returning to their land.

He did not see anyone as an occupier (neither people nor nation) in Israel other than the Jews. Otherwise he could not say that the Jewish people had outlasted all the other nations that rose against them. Had he seen any other he would have said something else. If he did not see them in place where they were he could not have said that.

But Twain was not the only person commenting on the issue. In fact time and time again we hear the words, there was no such thing as Palestine coming from the Arabs as well as the Jews. It came from Yasser Arafat, Zuher Moshen, and it came from The Mayor of Haifa, Hasan Shukri.

The Mayor wrote the British government to oppose the delegation that went to start this very same conversation. If the British government were truthful they would verify that Arabs from Syria, Lebanon and Jordan were allowed into the land.

Additionally, the American Consul in Jerusalem in 1880 confirms that the place was in decline. Remember, references to Israel before 1948 would be Palestine;
The population and wealth of Palestine has not increased during the last forty years
The Palestine Royal Commission in 1913 confirms that the Maritime Plain was undeveloped and dismal. He gives an example;
Gaza to the north was only a summer track suitable for transport by camels and carts...no orange groves, orchards or vineyards were to be seen until one reached [the Jewish village of] Yabna [Yavne]....Houses were all of mud...
Lewis French the British Director of Development was in agreement. The nationalist The Sharif of Mecca, in charge of the holy places, wrote in the Mecca daily newspaper Al Qibla in 1918:
The resources of the country are still virgin soil and will be developed by the Jewish immigrants. One of the most amazing things until recent times was that the Palestinian used to leave his country, wandering over the high seas in every direction. His native soil could not retain a hold on him, though his ancestors had lived on it for 1000 years. At the same time we have seen the Jews from foreign countries streaming to Palestine from Russia, Germany, Austria, Spain, America. The cause of causes could not escape those who had a gift of deeper insight. They knew that the country was for its original sons (abna'ihilasliyin), for all their differences, a sacred and beloved homeland. The return of these exiles (jaliya) to their homeland will prove materially and spiritually [to be] an experimental school for their brethren who are with them in the fields, factories, trades and in all things connected with toil and labour
The Sharif is admitting that Arabs were on the land but never settled. Therefore, they did not colonise. That the Arabs were on the land for 1,000 years only. He acknowledges that the Jews are the original sons, were exiled and are now returning to their homeland. No wonder he was accused of neglecting his religion later on.

Out of curiousity I want to look at it as a squatter situation. Accordingly in some countries if the land is not occupied or maintained for a number of years then someone else can occupy and claim squatter rights. The Arabs did not settle and occupy therefore they cannot claim squatter rights.

Meanwhile, the British in a White Paper 1930 and 1939 started restricting the immigration of Jews and the acquisition of land. The 1940 Land Transfer Regulation severely affected the Jew's ability to own land. They took sides.

This is why they needed to claim refugee status. This is why the United Nations changed the period to qualify as refugees to two years not ten years or five years but two years specifically for the Palestinians to make claims. Sounds like they took a side too!

Palestinians profited by Jews working the land and then they profited by claiming refugee status. They got allowances and more than 23,000 are employed with the UN the largest employer in the region. War brings funding. Other neighbouring countries do not get as much as they get in Palestine. The UN Relief Workers Agency was created only for Palestine no other refugee group.

Israel has done well for such a young nation having to fight war after war. It is first for research and development intensity and second for researcher concentration. Israel's Gross Domestic Product is third to Saudi Arabia and Iran in the Middle East and North African countries (MENA). Unemployment is at 3.7% below many other nations.

The Jews were the ones who worked to bring the country to the level it is now. They were the ones maintaining the land and settling on it. The Arabs profited from it and now as planned, they are ready to kick them out.

PROOF OF EXISTENCE

Let us go further back. Islam is 600 years old. Judaism is proven to exist at least 3200 years. That places them as original settlers with the longest history with demonstrated ties to the land. Not to mention the proof of existence. They have eligibility to be there. This sounds trivial but as you read further you will understand why it is important.

Menorah as a stepping stone in Mosque
Discovered in 2010 this stepping stone is the only remaining example of the doors used on tombs in ancient Israel. It is dated at 150-350 AD. It was found in an archaeological excavation site of an 8th century Mosque that was later turned into a sugar complex by the Crusaders.

The door was taken from a Jewish tomb to be used as part of a pillar foundation for the Mosque then later the top tier of the stepping stone for the sugar complex. The symbol itself is specific to the Jewish people and solidifies their existence in Israel and the further continuation of their religion in that land prior to that of Islam.  Click here to read more on this.

At the midnight hour, on May 14, 1948 Israel was born as a nation. Later that morning, May 15th, five countries attacked Israel to take over the nation. During that war a discovery of an inscribed circular stone was made by the East Gate. That stone was historical evidence of the existence of Judea as a separate state under Roman command outside of the Bible. The war was said to be about reclaiming the land that belonged to the Arabs because Judea did not exist only Palestine. Now that is funny!

Palestine was a name used to cut the tie that the Jews had with the land. The mere fact that the country was being called Palestine is proof of this.  In terms of the Palestinian cause, it was never called Palestine prior to 135AD.

To be safe it was not called Palestine before the Romans came. It was called Judea and Jerusalem. That means that it can only be called Palestine because the Jews were cut off from the land. This proves the land was owned by Jews before Palestinians.

This is why I am convinced that through proof of existence, international recognition, care for the land, settlement of the land and historical ties the land belongs to Israel. It is irrelevant if the name is synonymous with a people who came to claim land when they saw others working it. But of course it is a war of words and many more accusations are made.

RACE AND DIVERSITY

In recent developments Joe Biden received a letter from 73 democrats requesting that officially they refer to the West Bank and Gaza as being occupied. The democrats have been promoting the agenda of inclusion and diversity but not in Islamic nations.

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., President, USA
This demand is based on the claims by the ME countries that these are fake Jews, racist people and they do not practise their religion. This would support the argument that Jews do not belong there and they are foreign colonisers occupying the land.

This attack against Israel was often heard coming from the Palestinian Liberation Organisation and Egypt's President Gamal Abdel Nasser. This is what Nasser said on television and radio in 1950s.

You left black and returned white, you are impostors and shall never see peace.

Fake Jews

Of course the most disgusting comment of all is that they left black and came back white. In the Caribbean a dark skinned man and dark skinned woman will have children. The offspring can be half one colour black and the other half another colour white. This is normal after 350 years of slavery. Also, what do you expect to happen when you live in colder countries for 2,000 years?  Everyone gets fairer within months!

If the Ashkenazi Jews (European) were converts, they are still Jewish people. Israel is the only homeland for Jews. Many Christians are converts and so are many Islamists. Are they saying that the converts to Christianity and Islam are not true or real?

With the stigmatisation that occured in Europe and continues today I do not see anyone rushing to convert to Judaism. I do not see them leaving the European and American comforts (at that time) to simply go drain the swamps and live in sweat boxes either.

Israel is home to 47% of the Jewish descendants currently. I ask, Why would the converts come to a country that is always being attacked and has two cities that are listed as most densely populated in the world (Jewish not Palestinian)?

If they are converts then it is not for Muslims and Arabs to say they are not real Jews. But if they are accepted by the wider Jewish population then who has the right to say they cannot be because they are white? How ridiculous can it get? The argument of fake Jews is irrelevant. Then on the other hand the Israelis are accused of being racist.

Racist

They are accused of being racist because they are self-segregating. Yet, Israel is  accepting Jews from other lands who are African, Indian etc. From my perspective it is a good thing the Jews did not mix the blood lines too much. Proving the family trees would have been even more difficult for returnees. It would have lessened the claim to the right of land in Israel.

They could not have known that this would be so important thousands of years ago. Not mixing with other nations has been part of their religion from inception. Additionally, It was out of necessity due to the persecution they faced in other nations. They had to keep to themselves.

The use of race is insulting to the many people who have died because of their race. The accusations of not being diverse is only an extension of a strategy to attack Judaism. The statistics show that 18% of Israel's population are Muslims, 2% are Christians, in 2020. Christians in Iran are 1.1% in 2020.

If there is diversity then there is belonging. However, 2021 is a landmark year in which Israel was attacked from those inside by Arab Palestinians. This is cause for great concern. Iran's trademark is to attack from within. This is the same tactic that Hitler spoke of.

The 2014, Miss Israel representative Yityish Aynaw, an Ethiopian Jew has spoken on a number of occasions. She stated that the issue of racism exists in Israel as with any nation. It is further complicated by having to determine the true conversion and descendent for naturalisation. There are economic immigrants pouring in from many countries to date and these are the ones to sift out. This has made the process slower but there are improvements.

The more the diversity increases, the more the risks to the people in Israel. Simultaneously, the more the diversity the less the people who are practising the religion in its Orthodox state. Another point of attack by the Arabs. Soon this could prove to be a larger problem for Israel. In the UK, churches are being turned into Mosques because they no longer have a congregation to sustain it.

Religion

It would appear that accusations vary depending on whatever angle could be sold to the world. Jews are accused of being black and of being white. Sounds contradictory eh? It is not even funny. Race is used to distract people with emotions. As was done on social media with false claims of Israel killing babiesThe issue of segregation was based on the religion not on race.

The accusers say that only a few Israelis practise the religion and because of their religion they segregate. That means less than 20% is segregating? In USA there are religious groups who  segregate. Heck, I segregate so that I can focus on what is important to me. With the accusation of not having many practising Jews in Israel they are saying that Israel has no religious claim to the land.

If only a few are practising the religion then what needs balancing? The rationale to fight against Israel is to balance Zionism. Muslims can be accused of the same. In all of the Middle East and North African region there are only 4% that are Christians and 2% that are Jews.

While Palestinians entertain the conversation about Israel being colonial and practising apartheid based on race and religion, their is no truth to it. For the outside world this seems like the solution but that is not what the Muslims and Arabs are really saying.

The Reality of Diversity

I want to look outside of Israel, e.g. India and Pakistan. Pakistan was separated because they could not live peacefully with the Hindus. If Islam as a religion embraces diversity then they have no need of a separate state from India. To date Muslims in India are accused by the Indian government of terrorism. In 2020 this led to a lockdown situation of several areas.

There is a constant fight in different stages in many countries in the world. Many nationalities and races have been forced through war and intimidation to accept Islam. To be fair this happened with Catholicism and Rome prior to Catholicism. But only Islam continues to take over nations and force people to either convert or acknowledge Islam is superior. This is one reason why I think Israel is a distraction.

The issue is a growing global issue as Muslims and Arabs  migrate. Nations are held hostage to accept the thousands who are fleeing from their homeland. Many are radicals who take part in jihad immigration. They infiltrate the civil societies and the political and media institutions and change the societies forever.

This is why the democrats in USA no longer look and sound like the democrats before Obama. When Obama was President one lobbyist representing Iran visited him over 33 times. Accepting refugees has repercussions in any country. It is especially problematic when they radicalise the native population or continue to segregate and spread radicalism and propaganda.

Former US Democrat Congresswoman and Green Party Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney tweeted a message on June 28, 2021. She stated that it was the Jews behind the 9/11 attack. Is she saying that the USA killed the wrong persons responsible for it? It is clear that over the years the truth is being stretched and distorted to be used as tactics against the claim of the right to exist as Israel.

When Islamists migrate to other nations they do not see themselves as belonging with the host nation. If you belong to a nation you would not attack its people and certainly not its land. There are parts of Britain that have larger populations of believers of Islam and the British people cannot even fly their own flags. Ed Husain former radical trained by Jihad now Professor, wrote on this.

There is a mosque on almost every corner of Bradford, UK
In Israel the Ma'alot Massacre happened in an area founded by North African Jews. It was perpetrated by the Palestinians in 1957. Despite this Ma'alot later formed a municipality with a Christian Arab and Muslim village Tarshiha in 1963. Now that is forgiveness. It shows interdependence.

But in 2021, Arabs living inside of Israel committed hate crimes against Jews, burnt land and an estate, a synagogue and posted on social media that they identified as Palestinian Nazis. Israel was attacked by its Arab diversity who claimed they belonged. They had no problem with violence and damaging the land they loved so much. This is why a two state solution is not really a solution for peace. It proves that they are not interested in diversity except as a weapon against Israel.

Language

The language is another factor to show a link with the land. The same language spoken today is the same that was spoken 2,000 years ago. Whether the language was resuscitated in the 1800s or not is not even valid. Further to this the language was restricted to literature and liturgy until somewhere between 1800s-1900s.

The fact is some of them had maintained the language. Some of them had to re-learn it as they did forget some of it. Some of them did not have the opportunity to learn it. For a people who had been separated and spread out all over the world the fact that anyone remembered the language at all is amazing.

In comparison the Quran is written in a language that is difficult for the Islamists to understand. The language has been changed. They did not maintain it. But when it comes to modern day language we have not been paying attention.

THE REAL CONVERSATION

Throughout time we keep hearing about the destruction, massacre, murder and annihilation of Israel. Is the issue really about ownership and occupation? For this blog I will use the 1967 attack on Israel to show the language that is consistent throughout time and leadership in ME nations.

On May 18, 1967 Egypt continues to request the complete withdrawal of an estimated 3,400 United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) troops and it is done. By next day, The Egyptian High Command orders the occupation of Sharm el-Sheikh, which controls access to the Gulf of Aqaba via the Strait of Tiran. UNEF troops leave Sinai. On May 20, UNEF withdraws from Sharm el-Sheikh. This left Israel’s southern port of Eilat unprotected.

On May 20, Syrian Defense Minister Hafez al-Assad says, Our forces are now entirely ready not only to repulse any aggression, but to initiate the act ourselves and to explode the Zionist presence in the Arab homeland of Palestine.

On May 23, Egyptian President Gamal Abdul Nasser says, We knew that closing the Gulf of Aqaba meant war with Israel. … If war comes, it will be total, and the objective will be Israel’s destruction.
May 28, Nasser adds: will not accept any … coexistence with Israel. … Today the issue is not the establishment of peace between the Arab states and Israel. … The war with Israel is in effect since 1948.
May 26, He continues: The problem today is not just Israel, but also those behind it. If Israel embarks on an aggression against Syria or Egypt, the battle against Israel will be a general one and not confined to one spot on the Syrian or Egyptian borders. … Our basic objective will be to destroy Israel.

It is not about Israel when Anti-semitism occurs in other nations. It is the religion. No one can attack or criticise Islam, not even Muslims or Arabs. But Arabs are allowed to attack Judaism. It is about existence because history proves it is not about occupation:

PLO 1964

  • In 1948, Israel did not consist of Gaza, West Bank or Golan Heights but they were attacked by several nations, it was not occupation
  • During 1948-56 they were constantly attacked. About 80 times, and there was no occupation for the West Bank
  • In 1964 the Palestine Liberation Organisation was formed but the flag showed that they still held on to the view that they will have one state without Israel
  • In 2005 Gaza had been vacated by the Jews and yet civilians in Israel are attacked from Gaza. Instead of peace they got war and more terrorist attacks.

The conversation of occupation and ownership is a distraction for the contradiction that is occurring. It is designed to create a future exile of the Jews and a complete slaughter. Yes, I say slaughter based on what is happening with political opponents in Iran and Syria, and anti-semitism by Muslims and Arabs globally.

ISRAEL HELD TO DIFFERENT RULES

I think that there is a misconception that Israel has to be perfect. While Israel is being scrutinised and attacked as an occupier and coloniser, there are other developments that are being ignored. The conversation around the ownership and occupation of Israel is part of a distraction and a strategy of much bigger proportions.

It would seem that there are things going on in the ME that are on a massive scale with two main countries at the heart, Iran and Turkey. You will need a map for this. Turkey has occupied Northern Cyprus for 47 years. There are no campus demonstrations or calls for boycotts in response to this. What about its routine bombardment, using U.S. made jets, of Kurdish militants in Iraq?

Iran has been supporting militias, called proxies, in several countries; Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria. Lebanon has fallen and is now in anarchy due to Iran's hold on gas. Iraq's capital has been overtaken by Iran's militias. Syria and Iran have a relationship that allows Iran to move in and out as they will. Yemen is devastated.

The ME is being taken over by Iran. The nations are being colonised. It is a magician's slight of hand that accusations are made against Israel but the accusers are the ones actually committing the crime. Instead of developing the people and the nation, they abuse their people forcing them to seek refuge elsewhere and focus on military expenditure.

The May 2021 war was due to Iran's incitement. This was suspicious from the start. It would seem as though it was a test of what Hamas could do and of what Israel could do. It revealed allies and potential threats to Israel. Both Iran and Turkey have been making threats and are advancing on Israel. This involves, arming themselves with nuclear capability and buying more weapons and ammunitions for land, sea and air takeover.

Iranian Army Chief of Staff Muhammad Bakri

continues to Support Syria and  Gaza

Afghanistan. June 24, 2021.

To further complicate the situation in the ME. Iran has replaced President Hassan Rouhani who is supposedly a moderate Muslim with a man called the butcher, Ebrahim Raisi. Amnesty International has been raising the alarm on this. Some critics say that he is responsible for more than 30,000 murders. This would include pregnant women, and political opposition with mass hangings. Another group, the Human Rights Watch has called attention to the political manipulations of the elections to ensure that Raisi would win.

It seems whatever the plans Iran now requires a hardliner, extremist.  Of course Iran can now create three nuclear bombs. A lot is happening but not put into a broad picture by the media. It is reported on in snippets to downplay the situation.

Recently with the withdrawal of the USA troops the Taliban has made decisive attacks on more cities in Afghanistan. In the map only the red and orange are controlled by the government as of June 24, 2021. Radicalism is increasing and winning ground regionally and globally, mostly aided and supported by Turkey and Iran.

THEN WHAT?

Exactly what is the plan going forward on the basis of the conversation that Israel has occupied the land illegally?

Where else could the Jews return to as a people? They were not accepted in other nations due to racism and anti-semitism which still exists today in many countries e.g. France, Germany, UK.

Furthermore, the fire of anti-semitism is stoked by radical Islam brought in mainly by mass immigration or shall we say jihad immigration. The question remains where would they go?

Will it be a situation in which the nations block them from entry into their countries and they have to remain in Israel to be slaughtered by the Palestinians, Syrians, Turks, Iranians, Sudanese, Egyptians?

The conversation cannot just be about Israel, if Palestinians are to be compensated because they were expelled prior to 1948:

  • Then the Jews should be compensated by Rome
  • It would mean that the slaves in the Caribbean would finally get paid from Spain, France, Denmark, Portugal, Scotland and Britain for being displaced and forced out of their countries. Did I forget anybody?
  • Immigrants who were mostly kidnapped from India should get paid too. It is only fair.
  • It should start with payment to the First Nation tribes globally

In comparison, the First Nation are a people who had to mix their race and retain their traditions, religion and language mostly through memory. They have more ties with the lands they occupied and settled despite all the massacres and brutality than the Palestinians. Whether it be as a supposed descendent of Canaanites or as Arab occupiers for the last 1,000 years.

The Palestinian claim to be descendants of the Canaanite people is not proven.  However, the same people who say that the people did not die out, but mixed with others are saying they did not leave anything behind. They were not in exile, they were in the very region they lived in thousands of years ago but left nothing behind. Yet, Israel can prove existence and has ties to support the right to ownership.

What do you think is meant by words like, destroy, annihilate, explode? Even if they take over the land as they keep trying to do, what do you think would happen to the Israeli people? When the Jews lived in Arab and Muslim nations they were not accepted, they were victimised, segregated and abused.

Sometimes the argument might seem trivial but believe it or not these arguments are made official locally, internationally and on social media. I would like to call them big guns and little guns.

The Turks have to accept that they lost to the British and no longer had a say in what happened to the land, not that they did anything for it either. The Iranians are clearly using the issue for other purposes which is largely to distract, bully and dominate.

Iran has to bear the embarrassment of having lost their charges as Palestine (prior to 1917) was given to them by the Ottoman Empire. Fact is hardly anyone even remembers this.
